#
# make -f Makefile.udrvcard red full rebuild; run nothing
# sudo ./build-udrvcard/test_udrv_card_tlb rungs 1-3, WRITES NOTHING
# sudo ./build-udrvcard/test_udrv_card_tlb write rungs 1-4, writes registers
#
# THIS IS THE ONE udrv MAKEFILE THAT PRODUCES A BINARY THAT CAN TOUCH THE CARD,
# and it is separate from `Makefile.udrv` for exactly that reason: that file's
# whole claim is that its source list cannot reach a device, and a target here
# would quietly destroy it.
#
# The binary defaults to the read-only rungs. Writing a register needs the
# `write` argument, so a run started by muscle memory cannot write one. That
# matters for the mutation battery: an encoder mutation run with `write` would
# aim windows at addresses nobody chose, whereas the same mutation run with the
# default only mis-PREDICTS what tt-kmd wrote, which is precisely the red proof
# rung 3 wants.
#
# Root is required: /sys/bus/pci/devices/*/resource0 is 0600 root:root. A udev
# rule would replace that (see ft_tt_udrv_pci_sysfs.h) and has not been used
# here.
#
# `red` rebuilds from scratch every time — GNU make 3.81's one-second mtime
# granularity means an incremental mutation loop can be running the PREVIOUS
# binary (coding-best-practices.md §9).
